The Godfather Podcast

al scaglione, the godfather

Actor/businessman Al Scaglione (“The Godfather”) joins The Second Column podcast (Episode 139) to talk about how he missed out on the chance to audition for the role of Michael Corleone in The Godfather (the role that went to Al Pacino), the time Al met up with┬áJack Albertson and Jack’s two hookers (yes, Jack is the grandpa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), the courtship of his wife Joanne and scaring his daughter Arrica’s dates.

This will go down as one of my favorite podcast episodes ever. It is filled with great stories and lots of laughs.

We met Al through his daughter Arrica Rose, a talented Los Angeles musician who plays with podcast guests Ryan Brown and Marc Thomas. You can check out Arrica’s work at http://www.arricarose.com/news.cfm.

    Joe;
    I can’t begin to tell you the blast I had being with you guys. It was such a treat. You guys are something else. A multi-talented group with no egos, just being there for each other and the guest. The show is the focus. Yea, guys in Hollywood who don’t have ego’s. Thank you so much for having me. It goes on my list for one of the best times I ever had. Ciao,Al

  • What an amazing show this was. Al is so classy and interesting. I could have listened to him for hours. Nice work guys.
