Hot Sauces I Like

I try so many hot sauces that I often forget about the ones I have tried. So I am writing them down so I can remember. I am posting this list publicly in case anyone out there is looking for new hot sauces to try. This list is incomplete, but I will keep adding to it. (You are welcome to send recommendations on Facebook or in the comment section. Or send bottles!)

Bethany Blues Heat Me Up Garlic Habanero
Louisiana style, with habanero, medium heat, nice taste

Bite Me Lime Cilantro
More of an oil than a hot sauce, surprisingly delicious, comes packaged with a hot sauce turban or small piece of cloth or something

Caribbean Sensation Mango Mustard Habanero Hot Sauce
The title alone contains so many of my favorite words; good heat while retaining flavor

Gringo Bandito
It’s like a high-quality version of Taco Bell hot sauce. I mean that in the nicest possible way. I love Taco Bell hot sauce.

Heartbreaking Dawns Classic Gold Habanero
Hot, sweet, with tomato flavors; not overpowering

Howler Monkey Original
Panamanian-style hot sauce made with Scotch Bonnet peppers; liked this one a lot

Jerome’s Caribbean Habanero Hot Sauce
Great heat; lots of flavor; one of my favorites

Mountain Man Chipotle Pepper
I’m not usually a fan of chipotle sauces, but I like this one. Not too smoky and not too hot. Good amount of flavor.

Scorned Woman
Nice heat, hint of sweetness and black pepper

Scotty B’s Sweet Jalapeno Heat
Sweet and spicy, sort of Thai-style, but not hot; delicious

Texas Hold’em All In – No Limit Hot Sauce
Scotch bonnet peppers and mango. Awesome sweet and hot combination.

The Hottest F**’n Sauce & Dave’s Insanity Sauce & Blair’s Original Death
Add one drop to a jar of mild salsa for instantly hot salsa.

Frank’s Red Hot & Tabasco & Cholula & Sriracha & Crystal & Tapatio & Louisiana Hot Sauce
Good mainstream brands

Oh, and most of these hot sauces are linked to Amazon, where I have an affiliate account, so if you buy them online through these links, I get a little somethin’-somethin’ from Jeff Bezos. I promise to pour the proceeds into more hot sauces. The circle of life continues. And so forth.

Yo dude. Marie Sharps, from Belize. If you can’t find it, I think I have some extra bottles — I bought 12 when I was there a few years ago so I wouldn’t run out.

  • Yes, please. Save me one. I will trade you some of my homemade batch.
