Good read: Terror, Tragedy and Hope in Tuscaloosa

athletes

You can’t truly comprehend a natural disaster unless you’re there. Lars Anderson was there, and in this excellent Sports Illustrated feature he takes the reader with him, looking back at the April 27 Tuscaloosa tornado through the eyes of University of Alabama athletes. It’s an incredible story of heartache and small victories and a reminder that, following tragedy, people pull together, support each other and perform acts of heroism.
