E-mail from Veronica Ramenzoni of Ramenzoni's Law

Thanks for the article … though I think that calling the effect we found a ‘law’ might be a bit too much … who knows if what we found for perception of somebody else’s actions will be affected by social variables or generalize to other tasks … those are issues to explore in the future … :-)

Anyhow, your blog brought this Herman Hesse quote to memory … I thought I’ll share it …

“If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself. What isn’t part of ourselves doesn’t disturb us.”

Cheers,
Veronica

I hate people who hate things in other people that can be found in themselves.

    Always have.
