About Me
I am a writer in Los Angeles. I spent four years as a reporter and editor at Scripps Howard News Service in Washington and wrote a nationally distributed humor column for SHNS that appeared in more than three dozen newspapers including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Orange County Register and Chicago Sun-Times.
Today I am a freelancer. My work has been published in Brides, Metal Construction News, Football Digest, Ohio Today, Editors’ World, Print Solutions, fineliving.com, the Ventura Star, the Rocky Mountain News, Go Boating and Sea. I also write marketing copy for a major cable network. In addition to being a journalist, I spent three years as a writer and senior editor at Tandberg Television (formerly GoldPocket Interactive) in the company’s interactive television department.
I was born and raised in Cleveland and have a degree in news-writing and editing from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University.
