Joe Donatelli is a journalist in Los Angeles who is comfortable referring to himself in the third person. He was born in Cleveland and is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and the Upright Citizens Brigade, both fine schools. He is the author of “The Marching Band Refused to Yield” and “Full Griswold: Stories from a Honeymoon in Italy.” Donatelli has written for the Los Angeles Times, Reason, Slate, Scripps-Howard, Salon, Cracked and is currently a senior editor at Playboy.com. He also publishes The Humor Columnist. Joe is married to author and journalist Jennifer Jones Donatelli, and they have a dog named Tanner. In his spare time he sets his mouth on fire with hot sauce.
