I wanted to like this book, because I liked the movie and this is THE business story of the 21st century. But Ben Mezrich’s The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook: A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal lacks — what are those things good pieces of nonfiction and, yes, even fiction need again? — facts. Mezrich used the ass-saving vague qualifiers “maybe” and “perhaps” and “picture” so-and-so more than any author I’ve ever read. Someday someone will write the definitive story of the founding of Facebook and I look forward to reading it.
